Laser Medcare’s objective was to double its
productivity in five years. The dilemma was
that they had half the budget of their competition.
The client was advertising ‘lifestyle’
banner ads in the local paper to little effect.
To create a recognizable brand that didn’t
emulate the competition, we reduced the
quantity of ads and dismissed the bannerstyle
approach. Instead, we enlarged the ads
to a quarter-sized page and incorporated
humour to seize the attention of the public.
It was a daring endeavour, but the results
were significant in public response.
We also re-designed their logo and website.
The series included 8 print ads that were
rotated during the year.
